Information and facts about Teacup Puppies

At present plenty of people refer small dogs like teacup puppies to large dogs for example Rottweiler puppies, Poodle puppies, Pug puppies, Boxer puppies etc. Actually there isn't a such breed of dogs as "teacup" and there is no differentiation between “teacup” Maltese puppies and regular Maltese puppies. All Maltese puppies are considered to are part of toy breeds it doesn't matter are they teacup puppies or regular.

The term "teacup" is used in regard for puppies that weight less than it is demanded by standards set for a certain breed. As an illustration, people usually use the term "teacup puppies" in reference to Yorkie or Maltese puppies that weight less than 4 pounds. The standards set for Maltese and Yorkie puppies are that the weight of an adult dog must not exceed 7 pounds. But many breeders usually agree that Yorkies or Malteses that weight less than 4 pounds at their adult age read more problems with health than animals that weight from 4 to 7 pounds. Puppies honestly are usually known as "teacup puppies". These teacup puppies have various defects of organs. It is necessary to denote that breeders also usually suggest that there is no other way of intentional breeding than interbreeding teacup puppies with weight fewer than 4 pounds. However, a reputable handler would not interbreed teacup puppies to comfort esthetically standards of the society but would maintain breeding stock quality.

When you seek out teacup puppies such as Maltese or Yorkie puppies, it’s important that you go through the character of animals rather than their size. Of course size is necessary to a certain degree in case when you prefer teacup puppies to regular dogs but it is certainly better to get a puppy with no health problems and good temperament than to satisfy modern tastes of society.
